Western Bull Riding Tour
Bull Riding is one of the fastest growing EXTREME SPORTS in the nation, according to Fox Sports News. S Bar S Productions has a vision, that began with two bull riders sitting on a couch talking about their dreams, to help promote and produce bull riding events out west, that offer opportunities to our future champions. On February 20th, 2010 at Lawlor Event Center in Reno Nevada the Southern Extreme Bull Riding Association (SEBRA) sanctioned it’s first bull riding event offered west of the Colorado Rockies. This event became the first of it’s kind to be included in a new tour offered to bull riders out west.
The Western Bull Riding Tour is the first of its kind, west of the Mississippi, and provides the pro/am bull rider with quality stock at events in the western states. Top quality stock contractors/producers are now becoming professional Arena Producers by sanctioning their events with SEBRA to become a part of a national network of events.
S Bar S’s goal in this western movement is to be able to work side by side by side with these talented men (Stock Contractors / Arena Producers) to bring their successful events to the next level. By working under SEBRA’s umbrella of guidance we provide new SPONSORS valuable marketing tools through a strategic partnership with these professionally produced events, that put them in touch with their targeted demographic. We also provide the community interest and involvement piece that many companies are looking for to complete their new business models.
And all of this is because the two bull riders sitting on the couch talking about their dreams, are not alone. They are like many others wanting to see more opportunities provided for those extreme athletes willing to get on a 200 pound animal and push themselves to their personal limit. It is our hope to create a new found interest and support for a sport taken right out of the old west, making it possible to help bull riders, stock contractors, industry talent and communities strengthen the western tradition.
SEBRA, Southern Extreme Bull Riders Association, a national association, has been supporting producers for over 16 years and they see a need for developing their organization out west. “We are very glad that producers in the Western U.S. have chosen SEBRA as the sanctioning body for their tour. It brings a new dynamic to SEBRA and all those involved and we are excited about this partnership,” said Chan Canter, President of SEBRA. S Bar S Productions along with stock contractors and producers are committed to helping strengthen SEBRA as a nationwide bull riding association. With an average attendance of 2,500 people at SEBRA sanctioned events, venues have been chosen that will accommodate this attendance level.
